Music Of Chance
So let's spin the roulette wheel once more and see if that lucky number pops up... but is it really so lucky...? What is it that I'm looking for...? Will I know if I find it...? Monday blues and the search for answers again.
Well, a Happy Monday to one and all... and welcome to Nat's whine-fest... after the particularly hard going seven days of last week I'm feeling a little melancholy this Monday morning... it's all just a game of chance, but which way to bet, that's all... and how the hell do I know what to bet on when I'm not even sure what it is that I want to win... just when I think that I know where I'm going flashing lights appear and knock me off-track... what am I talking about...? To be honest, I don't even really know myself, other than that today I feel lost.
The nature of reality and it's true meaning is a motif that comes back time and time again to plague my mind... reading 'The Three Stigmata Of Palmer Eldritch' probably isn't helping but at least it provides some sense of commonality of experience... I'm not the only one who feels like this, I'm not the only one who's felt like this and I sure as hell won't be the last... and it's nothing as grandeous as the nature of reality for one and all, I'm just talking about mine... where am I going, my pretty maid...?
