These Days...
After more weeks than I'd care to admit to, I've finally picked up my guitar again... Seems to have been too much going on and I've had very little alone time but I've somehow managed to fit in a little bit of singing and strumming.
So there's my confession.. I haven't played or sung for over a month and my lovelorn guitar lay idle in the corner of my room gathering dust... just before it decided to leave me for another singer who'd pay it a little bit of attention (or perhaps elope with my mandolin) I picked it up and played a few songs... only then did I realise how much I'd missed it... soemtimes life gets in the way of doing the things that provide a moment of simple pleasure... that simple pleasure this time entailed slightly reworking a few of the songs from the album in time for my gig at the end of the month where I've decided to sing a couple of tracks in a different key and style to the recorded versions (just to be awkward)...
